It was a wonderful idea when it came about. Several times we were interrupted by the telemarketers doing their jobs, calling us during dinner. Then came the idea of putting a list out there, run by the government of course, that you can sign up and then the telemarketers have to respect that list by not calling the numbers on it. The one thing I didn’t know was that the list expires every five years if your number has remained the same. If your number has changed, or you have moved, it has already come off the list.
