Increase your traffic with RSS Hugger

December 2nd, 2007

Ok, so I’ve heard and seen a lot around the blogosphere over the last couple of days about a new site called rssHugger. As a newer blogger, I am always looking for new and interesting ideas on how to increase readers and traffic to my site. I am also looking to get out more often into the blogging world and find other blogs.

rssHugger will help spread the word about your blog and increase your traffic.

So what is rssHugger? It is an interesting concept, one created by Collin LaHay who had the original idea to create a place that would allow bloggers to publish their RSS feeds and increase traffic back to their sites. This is also a place to find new feeds and sites that you might not know about from browsing about in the different categories that are offered.

rssHugger is a unique website that aims to bring bloggers and readers together. rssHugger aims to provide blog owners with a unique easy-to-use way to promote their blogs by sending them traffic, building backlinks for search engine optimization, as well as attracting new rss subscribers if the content is interesting to the reader. rssHugger aims to help visitors be able to easily find blogs that write about subjects they are interested in. These subjects include: internet marketing, making money online, charity, sports, gambling, and many more. If the visitors find a blog that they had not previously heard about, they can easily add it to their RSS readers or bookmark it.

So you might be wondering what this costs? I am all about finding FREE stuff, and rssHugger is FREE! All you need to do is write a post about it on your blog, and the cost is free. If you don’t want to write a post, that is fine also. There is a one time payment that is really affordable to get listed.

If you’re still not sure if rssHugger is for you, just pay them a visit and take a look at some of the blogs that are already listed there. Not to shabby of a list starting to take shape.
