Important Site Updates and News

Well, maybe it’s not all that important, but I wanted to let you all know a few things that are going on here at my site, ejcross.com.

After much discussion with my internal alter-ego and the other occupants of my mind, I have been heavily weighing what to do with this site. I had written before about Redefining Niche Marketing for your Site and I still wasn’t to sure where I was wanting to go with this site.

I am really enjoying Niche Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, blogging in general and WordPress. I like these topics and a few more, but I think this site is too crowded for all of these topics. If I am wrong, please let me know!

So, I am starting a new site. I’m not getting rid of this one, but will refocus this site to more general topics of SEO, WordPress and the Firefox browser extensions that work well with those topics.

My new site, BlogExplosion.net is a recent purchase as part of my studies in niche marketing, and I figured why not use it for highlighting items of interest for other niche marketers that are getting started like myself.

What I plan for BlogExplosion is to keep it simple, share what I am learning and the tools that I come across and use. I am also planning to use one of my niche sites as a case study in what NOT to do, and what to do for best results.

I am learning a lot of this information from Vic at Blogger Unleashed, Grizzly at Make Money for Beginners and Court Tuttle at Court’s Internet Marketing School.

If you aren’t reading those blogs, then you are really missing out on some great information!

As for the other updates on this site, I am thinning out the ads on here. I want to create a more simple and clean approach to this site, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. This is something else that has been bothering me for a while, but I was wanting to give them a few months and see if the results were worth keeping the ads on here.

I think that is it for now, so please keep coming back, both here and to BlogExplosion.net.
