Gawd, lucky you. I was about to envy you, haha. Mine had gone to N/A too, I hate the fact that they have to reduce our PR’s just because we monetize our blogs. What’s the catch anyway? They do the same thing, too I guess on their ‘other’ websites perhaps. Damnn, it makes me go all crazy. --, Khayte's last blog post..my PR dropped.

This could be good news. My PR4 was dropped to a big fat goose egg a few months back and I’d love to get some or all of it back.

drt, my best guess would be the amount of time it takes for the internet and all affiliated sites to update. One item I noticed on a few of my niche sites was it depended upon which data center I was connecting to as to what PR I was seeing.

This could be the reason that you were seeing different things on your site(s).

I just wonder why at the first time smartpagerank showed PR2 but then when I checked again, it showed PR0? Also the other centers showed 2 at the first time but when smartpagerank showed 0, they all became 0/ drt's last blog post..Rocket City

Yep, I guess I do care about PR a little bit. I’m not a PR guru or advocate, however if having a good PR is one method that helps me get higher in the SERPs for my niche sites, then so be it. It is not the only way to do so, and I agree that there is a lot of other ways to get traffic.

But, since Google is the biggest search engine and the majority of my niche site’s traffic comes to me from them, I kinda need to play by the rules. It also helps to be able to bend them a little to get a little more help.

You actually care about PR? Letting Google control how you run your site. Everybody likes do follow links, no matter what Google says. Google is one website out of billions. Search engine rankings do affect traffic, but they shouldn’t control the net. Google is trying to become the government for the net. Don’t let them. Screw PR, get traffic from other sources…

I am using SEO Quake toolbar on Firefox and that is where I am seeing it from. It is still showing up for me. Where are you from? Maybe that has something to do with it, or are you using IE?
