You can make some money with it, however the thing to remember is that the income is shared income. You don't keep all of the adsense revenue your lens generates, it is shared based on how popular your lens is and other factors.

The biggest thing with Squidoo is to market affiliate products or link to another site of yours that has more information about the topic. If you have 10 good quality articles about the same topic or niche, I would create a lens with some basic information about the topic, and then link over to your own site, publish those articles there and monetize it with Adsense or affiliate programs.

Is this a fairly good way of making money? I've heard of people making $500+ per page, but hwo much work do they put into it. If I write 10 fairly good articles what do you think the average return would be?

I agree with you. Squidoo is quick, easy to use and FREE! I have had some good luck with it on a few of my lens, but really need to learn copywriting or find a good copywriter for a couple of mine. I have a lot of views, but very few clickouts on my links...

I wish I had the time to make 1000 Squidoo lens. They don't all perform but I make a sale every once in a while and it is great when I do. All this for something you can set up for free. If I had no money and wanted to start somewhere, Squidoo would be the perfect place!
