Who Won Nashville Star?

Well, after over 40,000 contestants, many songs and votes were cast, the official honors were announced tonight for the Nashville Star television show. Nashville Star is a great program on NBC, similar to American Idol in that average people audition to be the next big star. This show is for country music lovers.

And with that said, who did the votes tally up for tonight? Was it Melissa Lawson or Gabe Garcia? Who won the lucrative music contract?

The official votes were cast tonight and I don’t think many people were surprised by the winner of Nashville Star.

Melissa Lawson is the new Nashville Star! The married mother of 5 has amazed the judges and crowds throughout the competition this year.

Congratulations Melissa!

Who did the Bachelorette pick?

The Bachelorette has picked snowboarder Jesse! Yes, it’s true, the most opposite couple has been formed with these two.

What made DeAnna pick Jesse? Was is Jason’s son? Was is Jesse’s wild side?

One is not to sure, but DeAnna has picked Jesse to be her Bachelor in this seasons Bachelorette series. DeAnna was rejected, roughly, last season in the series of the Bachelor. I’m not sure why anyone would reject her, she is amazing!

So, do you think DeAnna and Jesse will last? Will the Bachelorette pick the right one with Jesse? Only time will tell! Maybe in about 6 months we will see something on Entertainment Tonight about them breaking up!

Why I Like Asia’h Epperson and Why You Can’t Stop Me

My new Asia’h Epperson blog was flagged as spam, as my prior Asia’h Epperson post has been submitted to Google as a spam post also! Whoever you are, karma is a bitch, so you will get yours someday. Some people are just plain assholes!

…end rant…

Ok, so someone asked me why I liked Asia’h Epperson. Why do I think she is an amazing woman for going through an audition after her father was killed in a car accident? Anyone that can make it through tragedy like that and come out on the other side is an amazing person and strong.

Don’t believe me? Not sure why I feel this way? That’s fine. Read about what happened to my daughter when she was 18 months old.

My wife is a true inspiration. Just like Asia’h Epperson, she shows me the strength to keep going everyday. Just like Asia’h Epperson, we have personally faced the challenges in our lives that would have driven most people to sucking their thumbs in the corner, crying like a baby.

Asia’h Epperson is an example of how to live. Sure, she cried and I am sure grieves at her loss. But to continue with something like American Idol auditions is a sign of maturity and strength.

So, if you are going to submit this blog to Google as a spam blog, please, by all means, go ahead. If you are going to flag this post as a spam post, fine.

Just know that I do speak from experience.

Asia’h Epperson

Have you been watching American Idol this season? I haven’t. I just read a story about the contestant named Asia’h Epperson that was amazing. Asia’h Epperson showed a ton of courage and maturity in the face of tragedy that most of us would have collapsed under. Let me tell you about the story.

While Asia’h Epperson was awaiting her audition for American Idol, she called her father, who couldn’t make the trip. They spoke for a short time, and Asia’h told her dad how much she wanted him to be there.

Just a short time later, prior to her audition, her brother called Asia’h to let her know that her father had been killed in an auto accident.

Asia’h decided to go on with her audition and through the raw emotion of losing her father, she sang “How do I Live” by LeAnn Rimes.
