Who is digging you?

One of the problems I see with digg is there is no easy way that I could find to discover who is digging my articles that I submit. If you are like me, you have numerous friends and fans on digg, but this creates another problem.

Why do you blog?

With so many blogs out there, I wonder dear blogger, why do you blog?

Do you blog for enjoyment? Do you blog in hopes of making money online with your blog? How about helping others with your experience and knowledge about something you are passionate about?

You could type in a word that you are searching for in any search engine, and chances are that at least half of the results on the first page are blogs. There is a wealth of information out there on the internet and blogs are a key aspect of this information.

Not all of the blogs out there provide good information, but the majority do. But that is part of the world we live in. Finding and taking that information is key to your knowledge, and what you do with the information that you have found from blogs is up to you.

Comment politely for your benefit

As a reader of numerous blogs, I often find some great information about various topics that I am interested in. Sometimes the comments are just as useful as the article content, chocked full of extra links and discussion.

However, one of the problems that I see is how ruthless some people can be in the comments section towards the post author or site in general.

Now, I’m not going to name names, or provide links to some of the flaming comments that I am going to talk about. I don’t feel that doing so will provide any benefit to this article, as I’m sure you have seen the comments that have left you nauseated, or just thinking “Grow up!”.

New Social Networking Site Launched

While perusing my feeds earlier, I came across a post by Courtney Tuttle about creating a coup against corporate marketing giants.

In this post, Courtney describes a new social networking site that is similar to Digg, but very different. Blogging Zoom is the new social networking site and it will function similarly to Digg, but it will also be completely different from Digg.
